The Government Is Not Going To Save Us. What Is Your Plan B?

How often do you turn on your television, and find people cursing the President, questioning the government, blaming Washington for their personal failures, and expressing disappointment over the fact that the individual who they elected into office has failed on his obligation to pick them up by their collars, and to literally DRAG them to success?

NEWSFLASH: We (the general public) are NON-FACTORS to the leaders of our nation, and to the individuals serving on the house and senate in Washington.  The government is CLEARLY a machine that is obligated to implement new laws and policies, and to create amendments to existing laws and policies, ALL IN FAVOR OF SUPPORTING THE BIG BANKS AND BUSINESSES THAT ACTUALLY  RUN THIS COUNTRY.

Now that we've established the fact that the President of the United States is not CAPABLE of riding up on a white horse, with jobs, millions of dollars, and each of the components that make up the lives that we often DREAM of; we can then proceed onto what you and I must ACTUALLY do, IF we ever hope to realize our long-term objectives.

Let's pause for a moment to talk briefly about GOALS. A GOAL, simply stated, is the object of a person's desire or ambition; an aim or a desired result. Now prior to setting a goal, we must recognize exactly what and where we are at the moment, and to then identify what and where it is that we HOPE to be, in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.

I'm sure that by now you have heard of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement.  Well in my humble opinion, Wall Street is currently being populated by dreamers. Goal-setters are too busy putting their ACTION plans into place, to dedicate days and weeks to sleeping on streets, and flushing precious time (THAT THEY WILL NEVER GET BACK) down the drain.

So what would be a more productive plan of action for these individuals who are currently occupying Wall Street?  Success is and always has been an INDIVIDUAL experience.  Success has never been a group activity. There will never come a day in this country where the SUCCESSFUL are in the majority.

Why is this the case? It's simple. The number ONE rule to achieving success in ANY area of life, is accepting PERSONAL accountability for one's own results! As opposed to going after the 1%, criticizing the 1%, and berating the 1%; those who truly understand that success is a very personal experience, are seeking advice from the 1%, picking their brains for knowledge, and utilizing the experiences of the 1% for their own personal development.

Now in closing, I'm going to leave you with a six step process, that can completely REVOLUTIONIZE your life, WITHOUT your having to eat, sleep, drink, and go to the restroom at some cold, dark park in New York City.  When properly applied this six step process will enable you to clearly ENVISION your goals for starters, and also provide you with a clear blueprint of the steps that will be necessary in order for you to achieve massive, personal success in EVERY area of life.
  1. Identify exactly where it is that you are in life today.
   2. Examine each of the action steps, thought processes, and behaviors that are responsible for your current status.

   3. Establish exactly what and where it is that you wish to be.

   4. Conduct a bit of research to identify the steps, habits, and practices that you will have to implement in order to reach your desired location.

   5. Set specific dates and times for the realization of each goal.

   6. Take ACTION!! DO IT NOW!!!

WE are the architects of your own lives. WE are the masters of your own fates. The actions that WE perform on a daily basis will dictate our ultimate success or failure. We can run to the polls every four years for the rest of your lives, angry, resentful, and anxious to utilize the power of our votes if we feel inclined to do so.

The simple fact of the matter is that we would be MUCH better off, and MUCH further ahead in life, if we were to instead take the advice of the late Michael Jackson, and to look at the man/woman IN THE MIRROR, and to ask HIM/HER to change HIS/HER ways.
